It was with great pride that I announced yesterday, on behalf of the nation's oldest and largest grassroots women's rights organization, that the NOW Political Action Committee endorses President Barack Obama for re-election as president of the United States.

The War on Women is all to real, and the stakes in this year's elections couldn't be higher. NOW/PAC is going all out to help the president win re-election and to elect more feminists to Congress. President Obama represents the pathway toward equality for all women. His record on women's issues speaks for itself:

   • Pay equity

   • Violence against women
