April 4, 2013
Join NOW, along with Robin Hood and his merry crew, on Saturday, April 20, for a rally and march on the International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank and U.S. Treasury to demand a Robin Hood Tax.
NOW is an endorser of the Robin Hood Tax Campaign -- a campaign to pass a tax on Wall Street transactions to raise funds needed to expand resources essential to women and children, such as child care, health care and the social safety net.
On Saturday, April 20, an annual gathering will take place in Washington, D.C., attended by IMF and World Bank leaders, as well as G20 finance ministers. Join us to demand a Robin Hood Tax for the people. European governments are implementing a tax on financial speculation, and the U.S. must, too.
Buses will bring activists from selected cities, including New York, Philadelphia and more. Bus information will be available soon online.
