Help Hillary Break through the Highest, Toughest Glass Ceiling of All!
The Democratic race for the nomination to be President is just about over and Hillary has a commanding lead – but she needs to remain competitive in the remaining primaries to ensure her spot as the Democratic candidate for President. The National Organization for Women endorsed Hillary Clinton over a year ago, and we continue to mobilize voters and volunteers for her campaign as she heads to the November election facing Donald Trump. Hillary is the most qualified of ALL the candidates, and she needs your support, your volunteer help and your vote. The contest is going to be brutal – but winnable. You can help by supporting Hillary and mobilizing voters for the California primary on Tuesday, June 7.
Help Kamala Harris continue Barbara Boxer’s work in the U.S. Senate
Also on the ballot June 7 is the election to pick the two top candidates for the United States Senate seat which is vacant due to the retirement of feminist champion Senator Barbara Boxer. The National Organization for Women, agreeing with the strong recommendation from California NOW, has endorsed Kamala Harris. Please review Kamala’s qualifications and contact her campaign office to see how you can help in your community.
When NOW was founded 50 years ago a major objective was to elect more progressive women to office. We are unapologetic about our efforts over the years to fulfill this goal, and in California you have a chance to vote for two women who will champion our issues in the White House and the U.S. Senate.
And what better thing can we do for ourselves, our families, our communities and our world than to elect Hillary and Kamala who will both work every day to bring down the barriers of sex discrimination, systemic racism, homophobia and inequality that hold too many people back. They know how to fight for us and win.
