Adopted by the U.N. in 1979, the Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) is the most complete international agreement on basic human rights for women. NOW to President Obama: Alan Simpson Must Go
Alan Simpson is not fit to lead the National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform. The ugliness of his disrespect for women is matched only by his dogged determination to dismantle Social Security. NOW urges President Obama to take a stand on this issue and replace Simpson immediately. You can take action on NOW's website or through Twitter.
