The documentary "Maestra" recounts the prominent role young women played in the highly successful 1961 Cuban Literacy Campaign. The March 19 - April 9 tour makes stops in D.C., Mississippi, Montana, Washington State and California. A screening of the film will be accompanied by a discussion with the movie's director/producer, Catherine Murphy, and one of the original teachers from the campaign, Professor Norma Guillard from Cuba.
